Property Boffin 2009 - a Comic Relief special event where leading figures from the property industry will be battling it out to be crowned Property Boffin Champion by answering questions posed by the public in a University Challenge style quiz! Sounds a bit bizarre, but why not do your bit for Comic Relief and submit your own question, or go to the event next Wednesday in central London.

Upmarket HMO landlords Nice Group went into administration this week. Their strategy was to buy large family homes, redesign them to provide the maximum number of lettable rooms, and then rent them out to young professionals on a shared occupancy basis.
